All right, noted. Is there something you want to ask about?

Note that before you can write code for it, you'll need to think about how the string should look like. For example, you may want to delimit the values by something like comma, don't use any delimiter, wrap them in XML tags or so. It depends on what you want to do with the string.

It also depends on the data in the list. If there are non-textual values, you'll need to convert them to string and you need to think about what conversion you want to use (e.g. there are many possible formats of date/time values).

It's not reasonably possible to suggest a solution without knowing the requirements, but it's very unlikely that ToString() is the solution.
