Why migration project should be created as implementation

Hi,

As per the below link, we need to switch the project to implementation. I just get confused, why we need to create a project as implementation instead of "Migrate, create solutions, and learn".

If both implementation/migration should be created as implementation then what is the purpose of LCS migration project?

    Hi Hari,

    As the name indicate "Migrate, create solutions, and learn". Lifecycle Services (LCS) for Finance and Operations apps partners - Finance & Operations | Dynamics 365 | Microsoft Docs Project is a learning project that can be created by customer and partners to learn Dynamics 365 and experiment with it by deploying the cloud hosted environment. 

    When you start actual project either its a new implementation or upgrade you create a implementation type project with minimum license purchase and you get a Microsoft managed sandbox environment where you can deploy solution, configure and start the project activities.

    Hope this clarifies.
