Hi, All 

I need to find/avoid Duplicates of records . 

Which will be the best solution 

Plugin or Duplicate Detection Rule ? 

Please suggest some links if available

    Hi Sandeep,

    You can use alternate keys to avoid duplicates.

    But my custom entity is not showing up in drop down

    Hi sandeepc

    You need ensure the entity is enabled for duplicate detection.

    Go Settings > Customizations > Customize the system > entities.

    Click the entity you need, then check ‘Duplicate detection’ under ‘Data Services’ section.

    Test.

    Go Settings > Data Management > Duplicate Detection Rules to create new rule.
