Hello all,

It seems like there is no valid security set up for creating a New prospect in PU11. I get the above error no matter what security settings I try. The form is All prospects (mi=smmBusinessRelationsListPage). The privilege (one of few) that gives access to the form is Maintain prospect details (smmBusRelTableMaintain). What I have tried so far is this:

- Give all roles in the system (except Admin) to the user.

- Elevate all permissions in Maintain prospect details (smmBusRelTableMaintain) to Delete access.

- Add smmBusRelTable with delete access to the privilege/role.

- Check all custom roles/privileges and there is no Deny access to smmBusRelTable.

After all this I still get the error. There is no error with Admin role which I think is normal.

I would appreciate any help or ideas. Thank you!

Hello all,

I found the solution.

Problem:

The only privilege which gives access to the New button in the form is Maintain prospect details (smmBusRelTableMaintain). At the same time if we use that privilege we get the above error (strange).

Reason:

In Maintain prospect details there is a display menu item smmbusrelquickCreate that denies access to the form data source DirPartyEntity.

Solution:

I changed the access level and it's ok now.

Either in Visual Studio (if you develop your security changes with actual developments) or in Security configuration form (if you prefer to manage the configuration in the user interface).
