    RE: Dataport

    hi,

best try it with a xmlport.

    info links:

    msdn.microsoft.com/.../dd338846.aspx

    msdn.microsoft.com/.../dd338612.aspx

it's easy to create a multilevel structure with a xmlport.

when load data and export the xmlport you get the wanted file.

    RE: Dataport

    hi Jonathan archer

We are to submit credit information to a credit bureau or consumer reporting agency and the base table for the dataport is loans table (customized table)..so they provided the format and structure they want the information to be like. They want the file to have three sections, header, data and footer. Header section must have letter 'H' denoting header which startPos is 1 and width is 1 and company name which startPos is 2 and width  25 and other staff.

data section  must have letter 'D' startPos 1 width 1, Customer ID startPos 2 width 14 and some other information. (this section retrieve information from base table)

Footer section must have letter 'T' startPos 1 width 1, number of records in a file startPos 1 width 10..

that how a file must look like, I hope you get the picture of what is needed

    Hi

Check the functions AddNumToPrnString,AddAmtToPrnString,AddFedIDToPrnString in the 10090 cu how the field mapping was handled.

    Hi

It seems to be you are trying to generate Payment file, what we suggest is instead of creating data port you can also achieve this using report, refer the Report Export Electronic Payments(10083) & code unit Export Payments (ACH) (10090) for this in the NA version.

    Regards
