Hi,
We have Azure webjobs that intergrate with dynamics. Most of these webjobs are located in North Europe (and have been for 2+ years) Our dynamics instances are EMEA. Sometime after October 2018 we noticed a big drop in performance for these webjobs across all our environments. With some testing I have been able to establish that if I deploy these jobs to an app service located in West Europe, the performance improves and is back to what we saw pre October 2018. Microsoft advise to have your azure intergrations in the same location as your dynamics instance but I can see no way of telling the exact location of our dynamics instance. This link tells me it could be 1 of 5 locations in Europe: https://products.office.com/en-GB/where-is-your-data-located?ms.officeurl=datamaps&geo=Europe#Europe I suspect that our dynamics instances location has changed but we did not receive any notification of this. Also I am concerned that we may create new resources with location set to West Europe to fix the performance issues and then Microsoft go and change the location of our Dynamics instances again.
Anyone else experiencing this?
Thanks
Phil
