instances not appearing on home.dynamics.com

Posted on by Microsoft Employee

all of a sudden, if we login to 365, and then click on the dynamics icon, we are taken to home.dynamics.com - but our crm instances dont show.

We can access via the full URL, but not from this portal.

This is for all users including admins.

If I click on the synch icon - either it does a quick synch and nothing happens, or  I get one of these errors:

{"error":{"code":"AppRefreshJobTimeout","message":"Consumer apps provision job 'bc4850f7-2f1f-4053-88b7-d77081d5924d' has timed out."}}
 or

 ERROR_REFRESHAPPS_BAD_RESPONSE

Also -  System Settings on the General tab for the setting "Show default app on landing page and in app switcher"  is set to yes.

    Running into the same issue here. We let the trial expire then signed up for D365. Now the icon does not appear.

    Were you able to get your problem resolved?

    thanks - all subscriptions appear allocated appropriately. I have a support ticket with MS waiting for a response, and all staff have been emailed with the direct URL so they can work in the morning.

    Licensing is no fun but it is on Security role basis so they should work as far as seeing the instances.  Double check to ensure the licenses assigned are the new licenses.   Again go into Bill Subscription and see what it says.  Might give you a clue to what is happening

    Health is ok. I am not 100% sure on the licensing. We recently cancelled/let expire CRM Basic and CRM Professional licenses and replaced them with various 365 for sales, team members and customer engagement plan enterprise licenses. No users are assigned to these older licenses, and as I said - we can access the crm directly via full URL. (It was difficult to get anyone to confirm what licenses we needed to replace the previous simple model)

    Did you check server health?

    The other thing is make sure your licenses didn't expire.  (Billing, Subscriptions) I have seen that happen  to a company without them realzing it,
