Hi,

My question is related to Time & Attendance functionality in D365 FO. From the worker level, it is possible to activate record for time registration terminals - this lets you set up various field e.g. calculation group, time profile.

Now, the requirement is to activate hundreds of records. Above method only works per 1 worker. I searched the web and came across this blog post

"Bulk update your employees:
Activating employees can be a tiresome task if you have a large organization that should be activated at once.
Use the Excel add-in and filter out the desired worker IDs in the hcmWorker table. Copy this to enter data into the jmgEmployee table."

I don't really understand the steps in above solution, I'm able to get desired worker ID's but how do I write records to jmgEmployee table (unable to edit jmg table in excel).

Has anyone mass-activated worker records for time registrations?

Activate multiple workers for time registration terminals

1. Open the table https://XX.sandbox.operations.dynamics.com/?cmp=XXX&mi=SysTableBrowser&TableName=jmgEmployee

2. Now you can open this table in the excel add in

3. Add the required employee data and publish it.

Alternatively

You can use the "Time and attendance registration workers" data entity.

Appreciate this was posted quite a while ago - any idea how to do this? I'm in the same situation.
