What you mentioned above is inquiry form and not report. If you want to look at report, then use "Open purchase order lines by item report" instead of just "open purchase order lines". Once you do that, you will see option to schedule the report. Please know that the report only gives you "open" status only unlike the inquiry screen where you can remove filters. report doesn't let you take off the filter.

The issue I'm having is that the "Open purchase order lines" form doesn't appear to have the same functionality!
I want all open orders per line item...any workaround for this?
Hi Mich,
Any report can be scheduled. To schedule, go to report section where you specify filter criteria, there is an option "run in the background", out there click on batch processing to yes, assign batch group. You need to setup recurrence as well (this determines that when that report should be run. Once you do all this and setup batch, you should be all good.

There are two columns, “status” and “line status”.
You can add them by personlizing and remove filters by crtl+G. or by pressing crtl+f3, you manage all filters, no matter the column are there or not. Remove two’open order’ from filter lines.
