Dynamics 365 custom html web-resource and outlook behavior.

Hello All Experts,

I have a html web resource which consists of a Html select on  it.

i am also having a custom button on the ribbon of the custom entity form.

when clicking on this button the custom html webresource gets open.

the custom html web resource is filled with data when accessing it via IE or Google Chrome browser, but it's not working when opening from the outlook .

is it the expected behaviour, or it isn't the expected behaviour.

    My advice would be to follow the advice contained within community.dynamics.com/.../how-to-debug-javascript-in-outlook to debug the script from within Outlook....

    Hello Ben,

    problem is that i am getting below type of error from within the outlook.

    it's not asking me for any authentication issue.

    but the issue is as below from the global.ashx file.

    "Unable to get property of $DK of undefined or null reference".

    For the addin / plugin the behaviour you describe is what I would expect...

    In a browser your web resource will have the credentials required for the web resource to download the data you want to display within outlook it won't have the credentials to download the data...

    i am using the 8.2.2.137 outlook addin , is it the cause that we unable to get the things correctly.

    Are you using the older Outlook plugin or the more recent Outlook App?
