25According to Business-to-Business E-Invoicing | Ministry of the Economy, Finance and Industrial and Energy Sovereignty The obligation to all companies doing business in France is to be able to receive electronic invoices from 1 September 2026. The obligation to issue invoices is set from: September 1, 2026 for large and mid-caps, 1 September 2027 for small and medium-sized enterprises and micro-enterprises.
How will Microsoft support this requirement in France for D365 FO Finance users?
According to Get started with Electronic invoicing for France - Finance | Dynamics 365 | Microsoft Learn D365FO Finance is supported by an integration to Chorus Pro.
Currently, Chorus Pro is used by the public sector as the central platform for B2G (business-to-government) invoicing.
At this stage, there is not enough information to confirm whether Chorus Pro is suitable for the private sector (B2B). We are looking for clarity on the following points:
- Is Chorus Pro currently adapted to meet the technical and legal requirements of the new B2B mandate?
- Does Chorus Pro support B2B transactions?
- Is it compatible with the private sector (B2B) operating model?
