According to Business-to-Business E-Invoicing | Ministry of the Economy, Finance and Industrial and Energy Sovereignty The obligation to all companies doing business in France is to be able to receive electronic invoices from 1 September 2026. The obligation to issue invoices is set from: September 1, 2026 for large and mid-caps, 1 September 2027 for small and medium-sized enterprises and micro-enterprises.

How will Microsoft support this requirement in France for D365 FO Finance users?

According to Get started with Electronic invoicing for France - Finance | Dynamics 365 | Microsoft Learn D365FO Finance is supported by an integration to Chorus Pro.

Currently, Chorus Pro is used by the public sector as the central platform for B2G (business-to-government) invoicing.

At this stage, there is not enough information to confirm whether Chorus Pro is suitable for the private sector (B2B). We are looking for clarity on the following points:

Is Chorus Pro currently adapted to meet the technical and legal requirements of the new B2B mandate?
Does Chorus Pro support B2B transactions?
Is it compatible with the private sector (B2B) operating model?
