New fields on Employee self service - Dynamics 365 for HR

Hi guys,

I want to show more fields on employee self service so employee can view/edit those fields from employee self service, is there any way to achieve this?

These fields are available in Employee / Personal Information screen.

I couldnt find any option in human resource parameter screen.

Your response will be highly appreciated.

Product version

2020 release wave 2

Installed product version : Microsoft Dynamics 365 Human Resources (8.1.3788.32673)Installed platform version : Update38 (7.0.5778.41505)

Hi Bilal,

There is possibilities to add fields on ESS screen but only for view purpose because ESS is made for tiles, form part. If you want to edit some information then check ESS - Edit personal information hyperlink. There you can add more fields.

Can you please provide screenshot? To how to add new fields for view and which hyperlink are you referring to? I dont want to add fields into existing table. Please refer to my screenshot above. Does system allow to add a new tab within Edit Personal Information and create new fields under that?

You can add only a few fields related to those forms. See below path.

It doesnt allow to add new tab or fields from a different table (refer to my screenshot)

Hi Bilal,

Yes, You are not allowed to add a new Tab. Only you can add fields that are available when you personalize the page.

Hi Pareg,

I am attempting the same as Bilal, However as there are no sections on the Edit Personal Information tabs, you cant add a new field for the Worker record as far as I can see. Can you share a screenshot of where you can add fields to.
