Dear All,

We are trying to send email notification using SMTP. But while doing test mail, we are getting this error message.

15875.JPG

I never seen this before honestly. Is this anything we need to check in LCS?

This is we are facing in a project which is recently went live and they are using 10.0.10 version.

I have checked the outgoing mail server provided by the client and email and password what they have given is already configured in SMTP settings.

Any input will be appreciated.

Thanks.

I have the same question (0)

    Hello PujariD365,

The project what you are talking about; is any Government / semi-Government project or non-Govt project?

    Best regards,
    Sourav Dam

    Dear Sourav Dam

Thanks for quick response. This is a govt project.

But is there anything related to the project type whether it is a govt or non-govt?

    Hello PujariD365,

Yes it may depends on that undoubtedly!

We faced the same issue last year while implementing a project in a GCC country. Because FIPS is a set of Government standards that define how certain things are used in the Government. For example; encryption algorithms.

You may go through below link which could be helpful for you to understand.

    https://www.eonesolutions.com/help-article/this-implementation-is-not-part-of-the-windows-platform-fips-validated-cryptographic-algorithms/

Also you will get another link from above link itself. Click on that link too and check. The same link I have pasted below.

    https://www.howtogeek.com/245859/why-you-shouldnt-enable-fips-compliant-encryption-on-windows/

You have to discuss the same with your client and explain them. Based on that, a decision can be made to move forward.

Kindly check and provide your feedback.

    Best regards,
    Sourav Dam
