Anybody knows if there's a way of attach a note/document or any other type of file to a general ledger journal or an invoice journal after they have been posted?
In free text invoices you can add attachmetns at any point so I think it should be the same for the GL and invoice journals.

This is great stuff but your attachments are only on the General journal transactions. If you delete them, via the clean up job, the important documents are gone.
Is there a way to get the documents transferred to the posted transactions, just as you can do from order lines to invoice lines?

I have tried with new but I can´t find it. If I achieve this I will share but in the meanwhile if anybody knows if it's possible to attach items at a voucher level after this has been posted please let me know. Thanks!
You can create "new" and add that from the table.

I enabled many options:
Now I can add attachment to posted general journals and posted invoice journals - great thanks!!
I still need to be able to do the same but at the line level. So in the posted journal, I go to the lines and place different attachments to each line. Is that possible. Any ideas which Active document tables do I have to enable?
Ludwig, this is mainly for invoice journals and what we want to attach is the image of the invoice. These need to be manually scanned thus it can happen after posting. In general ledger though we have to attach in the same fashion sometimes emails or other documents supporting the posting.

The probable reason MS doesnt activate because of the data size behind the table, if you add data in the table, it can be slowness, however, we did not have any issue till date.
