Alternative to Plugin Registration Tool for faster deployment

Hi Everyone

I'm used to faster dev experience in VS code and business central where the code is deployed straight from IDE without log in to another tool. Using plug in registration tool I need to find the exe in a folder and start the program, then login with 2FA , update assembly . For dev testing iterative changes this seems too slow. Is there a way to bake in the deployment to visual studio? I know versioning is required for assemblies. Why didn't Microsoft develop something fully integrated
