I am facing " Preparation failed " this error in one of the Cloud hosed environment in D365 F&O .
Right now the env is in 10.0.38 and other is 10.0.35 . Facing same error in both the env.

after abort the process and restarting some time its started to update but at 20th step it fails , without showing any error in any step.
also after couple of abort and resume Now ( UI ) environment is also not opening.
Checked with abort the process - restart all services , restart IIS , Restart AOS Service , retail service all.

at least need to keep environment in live .
* is anything changed in config file due to multiple resume , abort ?
also getting errors while conncting to VM - Sometimes connecting sometimes not.
