VAT return report creation for companies reporting as separate VAT group within the same system database D365 Finance and Operations

Hi All,

I have submitted VAT return via MTD for multiple legal entities but now found out 1 legal entity out of the 8 needs to report separately. All I could find on Microsoft Docs was how to report multiple legal entities under same vat group together which is what I have done.

How do I report separately 1 legal entity and leave the other 7 to continue populate vat return together?

Web Application, Populate vat return records and Electronic messages only populated on the 1 legal entity that I was on when I imported the model mapping which is what I used when I reported as a group.

Did you try to remove that company in Populate records action ?

I have found a solution, it's to import MTD Vat Setup file for the legal entity that needs to file separately, i have done that and submitted VAT successfully.
