AX2012 R2 - How to install CU6 ?

Hi, I have difficulty understanding the order in which I should install CU6 when I read

(Install updates to database, AOS, and clients)

technet.microsoft.com/.../hh538446.aspx

I installed a completely clean AX2012 R2 RTM (6.2.158.0)

No warnings or compilation errors.

1. Downloading DynamicsAX2012R2-KB2850972.EXE

2. starts axupdate.exe

3.  Under "Secelt compnents four setup to update)

I choose:

Application Object Server (AOS)

Client and Office add-ins

Components

Setup Support Files

but I choose not Database yet, then I click "next" and update these components and restart the AOS.

(Should I start now the client and run the Software Update checklist, it seems as if I look at the picture "Detailed Update Process" that Microsoft has described)

My question is should I run now "Initialize-AXModelStore" to Initializes the schema or should I first run axupdate.exe again select the database and update the application and then Initializes the schema?

I've experimented a bit, but are unsure what is right to do ... But in any case, when I run Software Update Cheklist I get compiler errors, see attached picture

Someone who has got the same error? I can fix the problem by removing SalesQuotationProjTable, SalesQuotationTable and Sales Table from USR layer, but as I already mentioned before this is a completely clean install, these tables are changed in the USR layer while I run Software Update Cheklist.

The Initialize Modelstore is not a necessity as far as I've understood. It will merely make sure the schema change in the hotfix for compile performance is properly implemented. The schema change is a change on some indexes.

Take down the AOS. Run the initialize command on the correct model database. Start the AOS and start removing any compile errors.

    Thanks for your reply Tommy,

As I understand, with CU6 you need to update the schema.

My question is does it matter when I update the schema, should I do it before I update the application  (Database) or after ? thanks

The way I see it, it does not matter when you reinitialize the modelstore. It will increase compile performance with 20-40% if you do however.
