Add custom field in My Activities view

Hello,

I have created custom field in Email, Appointment, Phone Calls, Tasks Entities for Activity reporting.

How can I add these custom fields to My Activities view.

When modifying  My Activities view Email, Appointment, Phone Calls, Tasks Entities are not available for selection.

    Andrew, Thanks for you reply.

    Company management would like to categorize activities as RFQ, PO, INVOICE..., and be able to filter and sort them based on this category.

    They need to see categorized activities for Account, Contact or Opportunity.

    What possible development options would you recommend without creating a custom report? Is it possible to customize TimeLine control to be able to filter and sort by custom field.

    Mikhail,

    I'm afraid you would not be able to add that field to the view because Activity views point to Activity entity and you can't add columns there and custom fields are added on the way of the activities itself.

    I believe what you can do is to add that field to the report but not to the view.
