Setting up Social Listening for only the System Admin

I have learned more about Social Listening recently at an event and understand it became available in the Spring 2014 release.  Is Social Listening under Administration in CRM something myself as the Administrator has to purchase licenses for in Office365 at an additional cost?  Or is it simply activating or enabling the environment with no cost besides our monthly CRM license?  Our company is on CRM Online 2013 and i have done the "Install Product Update" in the Settings> Administration page.

    Hi Courney,

    If you have more than 10 users, then you should be eligible to Social Listening at no additional cost.

    To assign the SL licenses :

    - Once logged in your CRM, type https://portal.office.com/ to reach office365 portal.

    - Click on "Users" -> "Active Users", Click a user (yours) and "Licenses".

    There you should see Microsoft Social Listening Professional among the Available licenses, and how many licenses are available.

    - Check the Microsoft Social Listening Professional box to assign this license to the user.

    For the user to acess Microsoft SL, he will have to log out, log on.

    Then he will log again, open the portal, and access SL (click on Social Listening in the blue upper banner).
