Hi,
I am using AX2012, I have google but did not find the solution. I need any level parent MainAccountId of any 4th level MainAccountId. Please help how I can find it.

Hi Nadeem, are you referring to a country-specific feature or do you refer to the sequence of your main account - financial dimension combination? What do you try to achieve as this post is classified as SDK? Ludwig
I am not sure what exactly you are looking for. We don't specifically create parent child relationship in main accounts. Account type (Like Header, Reporting) can be used otherwise if you are using MR for financial statements, you can arrange row design in that fashion as well so that desired reporting is achieved.

Hi Nadeem, in standard Ax there is no such feature available. What you can do are two things: Build a management reporter report that structures and summarizes the accounts in the way you need. The other option is that you take a look at the country specific features for china that include such a structuring option and decide with a developer whether you can make this feature also available on your country environment.
