Hi,
Is it possible to define different priviliges for one user for many queues?
I mean situation like below:
There is user name "John". In my Dynamics organization there are 4 queues: one, two, three, four.
I would like achieve that John has full access to queue one and to all cases in this queue, create and read access for cases and for queue two, only read acces for three queue and he shouldn't see any cases in queue four.
Is it possible to achieve?
Sadly not. Dynamic CRM's standard security model is based on setting privileges to all records within the entity (case, contact, account.....) so the privileges you give to a user would be identical for all (say) cases and cannot be changed on a record by record / queue by queue basis.
You can change a user's access rights to a queue but those rights don't pass down from the queue to the records within the queue. So once "John" opened the case from queue 3 he would have the same (full) rights to edit the case as he would have if the queue one.
In theory you could use teams or business units to get closer to the situation you want but things would get very complex very quickly and I really wouldn't recommend it.
