Hello Friends,

wanted to know if we have an entity related to the table PurchTable. I have a report whereby i need to have the exchange rate.

Any guidance please.

There are two entities related to PurchTable:

PurchPurchaseOrderHeaderV2Entity in ProcurementAndSourcing - Common Data Model - Common Data Model | Microsoft Learn

PurchPurchaseOrderLineV2Entity in ProcurementAndSourcing - Common Data Model - Common Data Model | Microsoft Learn

Do keep in mind that you don't have the exchange rates on the header nor lines.

Hi Jones

Thank you for your prompt reply.

But then where can i retrieve the exchange rate that was used. I can see it on the screen under price and discount section which refers to the purctable.

What would suggest

I assume you mean this?

You only have the currency in the standard application, not a fixed exchange rate.

Can you send a screen shot of what you see?

I misspoke, you have a fixed exchange rate on the purchase order, the field is called ExchRateFixed. But it's only used for invoicing. That field is in the "PurchTableBiEntity" entity. But I do wonder if this is a customization that field you are showing, because it's normally not visible nor filled out.

No purchase order entity will not return the exchange rate if it is not specified. Normally that value comes from exchange rates in F&O.

If you have to use an entity, you will have to make a customization to the entity to add currency as a calculated field.

Hi Jonas

I think what i will do is join on the ExchangeRateEntity on Transaction date.

Will try and see if i can retrieve the exchange rate which was used at the transaction date.

Doesnt work on joining with exchangerateentity because the rates may have been updated
