Can we use Online Marketing with Dynamics CRM in prem 2016 8.1 version? Hybrid allowed ?

Dears,

Can we use CRM on premise 2016 v8.1 with Markeitng cloud ? We have acquired Marketing license but unable to sync the data from Data gatewway to Online instance of Marketing

    Hi, for sure you can integrate an on prem environment to Azure and then be able to integrate data of both environments but doing that can be technical.

    I would recommend you opening a ticket on Microsoft Support so they can assist you through the process.

    Thank you Kenneth for your reply, i had a discussion with them and concluded that this can be done with Dataflows and pre requisites are on prem data gateway along with SQL connection on the cloud under Dataverse connections. Thank you very mych this was helpfull!!!

    Hey there! Yes, you can definitely use Online Marketing with Dynamics CRM on-premise 2016 v8.1 version. It supports a hybrid setup, allowing you to leverage the power of Marketing Cloud. If you're having trouble syncing data from the Data Gateway to the Online Marketing instance, I recommend contacting Microsoft support. I hope your marketing strategy works out; also, don't be afraid to try new techniques, like making a new hire press release (here's a new hire press release example). Good luck!
