Removing Inactive Vendors

We tried to delete a inactive Vendor but it had history to it - customer wants to know if there is a way to remove or hide inactive vendors

    Hello,
     
    To delete a Vendor, the following has to be true:
     
    1. Cannot have a Current Balance.
    2. No 1099 amount for the current year.
    3. No unposted or Posted Transaction.
    4. No Transaction History.
    If you want to delete a vendor, you will need to remove history after all transaction for the vendor are posted and moved to history. Once the above is true, the Vendor should be able to be deleted.
     
    There is no way to hide an inactive Vendor. If you are using a Smartlist, you could add the Inactive field to it and filter the smartlist so Inactive are not shown.
