NAV 2013 R2 session error

It works fine with super user but problem comes when I try with non super user.

In NAV 2013 R2, when I click Department|Administration|IT Administration|General| Session it gives me error "You have not been granted permission to perform the current activity" with non super user.

after this error it takes me to "select server screen" where I do not find any company but get the same error "You have not been granted permission to perform the current activity".

When I try to debug with non super user it gives the same error.
When I clicked Page "Session List" page ID:9506, Then click on Debug.

    Hi Tom,

You can give the system rights for Tools, Object Designer (5210) and Tools, Debugger (5310) with very basis permission and can debug the NAV application without giving SUPER permissions.

    Hope this helps.

    Hi,

From my experience in this area so far, I'm only aware of one way in which debugging can be done and that is by having SUPER permissions.

Could you please let me know if there was a workaround found for this?

We have many customers who wish to see this sort of information but do not have the authority within their organisation to warrant having SUPER Permissions.

    Thanks,

    Tom.

Did you try with creating an additional role only containing read permission to Tabledata | 2000000009 | Session?

in order to debug, you need the "company" field to be blank.

Hi sorry for the delay, I had lost the emailed & password for the user so couldn't reply.

I have created new user so now replying.

Thanks for the reply, but I have already tried the solution provided by you and it dosent work and gives the same error.

I have even tried giving db_accessadmin  permission to user in SQL still dosent work.

there is no company in user personalization & permission set.

When I try to debug with non super user it gives the same error.

When I clicked Page "Session List" page ID:9506, Then click on Debug.

There are no security filters installed also.

So now I don't find any reason why it is not working.

    Please help

I encountered the same problem and solved it by creating an additional role only containing read permission to Tabledata | 2000000009 | Session. An important thing I noticed is, that this only seems to work when an explicit role for read permission on Table "Session" is created and this role is not limited to a single company, ie you have to leave the "company" field empty.

Do you by any chance have company name filled up against permission sets?
