We are currently using the Sales and Customer Service app of Dynamics 365
Version 1612 (8.2.2.333) (DB 8.2.1.341) online
We cannot find the workflow button on the Accounts, Contacts, Cases entities.
Can you kindly guide me on solving this issue?

Do you have the privileges to run a workflow?
Are syst Admin?
Did you try to select one record and then click on the ... in the ribbon?
For me in the cloud it is working. Ok yes it v9 but it is.
If you try those 3 suggestions, you should ask your Dev tema if they customized the ribbon if not you should open a support ticket

Yes, i have full access to workflows and a system admin role has been assigned to me.
Yes, i did try to select the record and then the ribbon. This was also done using Advanced Find.
if you are a system administrator and the button is missing only in few entities, it means that probably the ribbon command bar has been modified to hide the workflow ribbon button.
you should check the situation with a tool like Ribbon Workbench (you can find it as plugin inside XrmToolBox)

Yes, this was the cause of the the missing buttons. Ribbon Workbench was used to hide the buttons.
