When I enter Management Reporter, I am given a list of reports checked out to me and asked to "select an item and click Undo Checkout to provide you and others access to it." Will that undo changes I made to the report? Is there some way to check something in, rather than undo checkout?

You will either need to save the building block and exit the row or column definition or else undo the checkout. This can occur if you are working on your laptop and do not save prior to leaving for the day, or if you are connected to a remote desktop session and close the session (leaving it running) rather than saving and logging out of Management Reporter.
With most applications it is a good practice to save regularly. Sorry I can't offer more of a suggestion. I hope that helps!
