Oanda Imports Subset of Exchange rates

Hi,

I am having an issue where my Oanda batch job runs and imports some rates but not others. My batch log returns warnings such as

An exchange rate could not be found for ISO currency codes USD and GBP, on the following date: 4/7/2021. Verify the ISO currency codes that are supported by the provider and that are available for the requested date.

The job runs at 8 PM EDT  with the parameters below and returns the a warning like above

If I run a single day import with the parameters below the missing rates from last night's run will import.

Oanda says from their side they are successfully pushing the information. Has anyone else ran into the issue?

I have the same question (0)

    Hi,

    Thanks for reaching out.

Looks like the batch job where the Import as of todays date is not running on the daily basis. Did you check the batch job history to see if there are any errors ?

    Thanks,

    Satya Teki

    Hi Kamar Wilks,

Is that issue always appearing for USD-GBP pair or any other pair?

Can you check with the provider as per below.

-- Are they publish all rates in one time a day?

-- Is there any chance that rates are getting updated by the provider for any specific pair from time to time?

-- If yes, then in which frequency such rates are getting updated for those pairs?

    Regards,
    Sourav

    Hi Satya

The batch job is running and has a status of ended for each run. I see warnings/errors such as the one I shared in my post.

    Hi Sourav

The pairs are not always the same.

I assumed that after the market closed the numbers would be available and would not change but I did not validate.

The workaround I use is to run a duplicate job 2 minutes after the first job which seems to be working and all the rates are coming over since then.
