    Hi,

You need to create a new server instance in 'NAV administration'. Then you can assign unique port numbers for all services. Enter the name of your database under database fast tab in the server instance. Go to the development environment and select this server instance.

If you have installed Demo version then default service DynamicsNAV100 also gets created. Please check your services.msc or navigate to Dynamics NAV Administrator 2017 and check you service is started.

Depends what do you mean by "Development Page". If you want to have development environment, you need to install it together with the demo database (refer to msdn.microsoft.com/.../dd301193(v=nav.90).aspx if you had not done this previously). Then select the database you want to open in the development environment: msdn.microsoft.com/.../hh166140(v=nav.90).aspx
