How do I make a Dashboard in Power Apps a Default System Dashboard?

When I created a Dashboard in Power apps, I cannot figure out how to link it to System Dashboards or even My Dashboards.

If I create a dashboard in Dynamics 365 Sales, it populates onto My Dashboards.

I need to set a new System Dashboard from Power Apps.

Much appreciated!

I have the same question (0)

    Hello,

    Please check this post: https://carldesouza.com/setting-the-default-dashboard-in-dynamics-365/

It's for an old version of Dynamics 365 but may help you understanding how to create a system dashboard and set the dashboard as the default one.

    Hope this helps you.

I think this link is also outdated because I have a Dashboard I created in Default Solutions that I published. It does not populate in System Dashboards on the Homepage.

To my knowledge, you cannot search for Dashboards in Advanced Find and I am still unable to locate the "Promote to System Dashboard" button.

    Hi,

The button should be available in Advanced Find (when you open a saved view).

Saved views are not added in the solution (as components).

The link you shared to Convert a Personal View to System View is from 2016. The button to "Promote to System View" is not accessible in the cloud version whether I am in classic or the new view.

Where is this button now? Wahaj Rashid

    Hi,

    Thank you for your query.

There is not out-of-the box feature to convert personal charts, views to dashboards as system.

Please look at the following article (add-in):

You can also use following XRM Toolbox plugin to share personal views, charts and dashboards easily with other users:
