Sure, that's what users do every day. They open forms and create and update data there.

I guess you meant something else but forgot to mention your actual requirement...

    Hi,

Custom scripts is the way to go in my opinion. We do this some times when it is required. I would suggest to copy PROD to a sandbox, test the script there and the run it in production.

    Kind regards, Adis

    Hi @CU10121822-0

Yes, We can update the record using custom script. Please do complete testing taking a backup from Prod to UAT and do the testing and execute the same in Prod.

Is there any specific reason why you are looking for this approach?

    Thanks,
    Subra

    Thanks Adi and Subra,

As said "copy PROD to a sandbox, test the script there and the run it in production".

1.Means need to restore PROD db backup to SandBox.
    2. then run the custom script
    3. and finally run in to PROD.   is it??

So. I am not aware of that earlier. Kindly let me know where to write the custom script and to run in PROD, deployment package in not required right?

    Kindly explain please

    Hi @CU10121822-0

    Yes, you are correct.

For the custom Script can be developed in the dev environment. if you have any internal team for the support. you can reach out to them and do the needful.

Custom script is required package but it's not required downtime.

    Thanks,
    Subra
