Hi every one,
I'm developing function in Inventory movement.
In form InventJournalMovement , column InventJournalTrans_Qty just show 2 decimals.
I try check in AOT : InventJournalTrans.Qty extends InventQtyJournal -> InventQty -> ProductQuantity -> Qty -> RealBase.
So i want to change No of decimals of InventQty EDT or Qty EDT for show all of field same like InventJournalTrans_Qty.
In AX 2012, I can change that, but in D365 FO I can't change.
Please help me,

    Hi,
     
    Since the RealBase  has property No Of Decimals Is Extensible = False, you can't change the number of Decimals.

    Hi,
     
    I suggest you create a new EDT with 3 decimal.
    then create an extension table on table “InventJournalTrans” and change the extended data type of field “Qty” with the new EDT.

    Hi,
    In my case,  InventQty -> ProductQuantity -> Qty .
    This is example. So I just want to change EdtReal : Qty but this is not allow.
    Do I using extensions ?

    Hi,
     
    Since the InventQty or Qty extends another EDT, you can't change it on these EDT you should change base EDT Which is RealBase, but an important point you should you know if you change RealBase EDT this will affect all EDT's that extend it in the system.
