Domain Authentifcation in test and producitv System

Hello,

we already have a domain-authentification in the productiv-system and want to use the same domain in the test-system.

We would like to use the same domain in our company for the test system and the live system. However, we have the following problem:

There is a problem with the email authentication key for DKIM.

There are already two other keys with this nomenclature, so:

eurkey1._domainkey

eurkey2._domainkey

Can we switch to eurkey3._domainkey and eurkey4._domainkey? And if so, how can I make this setting in Dynamics?

I hope someone has already solved this problem and can help us.

    Hello Nya,

    thanks for the reply - I'm not sure if I've made myself clear.

    The problem is that we have already authenticated the domain in one system. Is it now necessary to use a different sub-domain for the test system?

    For example, we could add "test" to the existing domain --> "test-domain.XXX.com" and as a result we have solve the problem with the key1 and key2 for the domain because we do not use the same domain?

    Do I understand this correctly?

    Hello,

    i just want to add, after researching about this topic i am a little bit more confused, because of a sentence drom the docs:

    docs.microsoft.com/.../mkt-settings-authenticate-domains

    "All new instances and trials automatically authenticate the instance domain with DKIM and set that domain as the default dashboard for your instance." - So how can i get this for my test-environment, actually its not possible.

    Righ now the domain state is:

    Envelope-from-Status: confirmed

    Ownership status: confirmed

    E-Mail-Status: Key to DNS not found

    I am looking forward to your help or is it necessary to contact the support for this case?
