Microsoft Dynamics NAV server is currently not ready to serve requests

Hi All

we are receiving the below error, when try to access the NAV service

The Microsoft Dynamics NAV server is currently not ready to serve requests. Try again later or contact your system administrator.

if we try to access the RTC using the Service from the database server, RTC runs both on db server & Application server(this is virtual server), but if we try to access the service of Application we are having the error.

NOTE: checked the service account , network service both mapped to the database with the db owner

    I had a similar error. I tried many things and this solved for me. On My NAV App Server i used the IP address for the SQL Database Server. When I changed it to use the Computer Name it resolved my issue.

    Please do check the network connectivity between client and the server since your application and database server works perfectly, problem should be relies on the client side or network that connect server and client.

    Hi Rajesh,

    As you have already checked that RTC is working fine on Application & Database server that means there is some connectivity issue between server to client.

    So please check the required port is  being access or not.

    Is there any firewall between client it server connectivity?

    I have tried with different ports also, but same error it is only with the service on the Application server not with the db server
