SSRS Reports: Print Options and Currency Settings

Posted on by Microsoft Employee

Dear Community,

I have noticed that my users see only one option when they print on the printer icon from within the SSRS report form. I see the whole option set (excel, PowerPoint etc). Where is it configured?

Another question: the sum of the report always takes base currency. I would like to be able to either change report currency when needed or simply show the user's currency.

Have a great day,

Nikita

    Hi Nikita,

    1. To export a report to another application, you must have that application installed. For example, you must have Adobe Acrobat Reader installed on your computer before you can export to the Acrobat (PDF) format.

    Please refer to this article:

    [View:https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/sql/reporting-services/report-builder/print-reports-from-other-applications-report-builder-and-ssrs?view=sql-server-2017:320:50]

    2. You could modify the default currency by changing the language of the report.

    Please refer to this post:

    [View:https://stackoverflow.com/questions/8822986/changing-currency-symbol-in-sql-reporting-2005:320:50]

Or change the text box properties to change the format currency.

    Please refer to this article:

    Hope this helps.

    Best Regards,

    Lu Hao
