Migration Path for Existing PMA Customers?

I have setup a Project Operations environment and setup all the table mappings and synchs. I have been following the documentation at https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/project-operations/environment/resource-configure-integration-per-legal-entity

I got to the end and see the note, A legal entity can be selected only if it doesn't have any existing projects.. Does anyone have an idea when that release is coming? I did try and enable my legal entity but get an error saying we cannot enable due to having existing projects. As much as MS is pushing Project Operations, it seems like there would be a migration path for existing customers. We are on 10.0.31.
