Thanks for the response but that is for 2011 and from what I read they haven't released a supported API since then?

    Hi Wes,

I believe that LinkedIn is on the target list to be added as a channel for Social Listening. I have not seen any dates or firm commitments. I have not seen mention of Google+ (is anyone really using it?).

Currently, it is not possible to specifically target a channel or custom site. I have heard that an API may be coming in the future as well...but again no official word or timing on that.

Thanks for the response, that pretty much reaffirms my research so far on this topic. Would be nice to see LinkedIn integration sooner or later.

We currently supporting 5 sources: Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Blogs and News. LinkedIn is on the roadmap along with other sources. Mike is correct that an API is also on the roadmap.

Sorry, can you give me a hand with a Facebook issue?

I have a message in the fan page (facebook) and social engagement listened it but the tool does not show the message posted by the fan page´s author, just show the comment.  Could it be because i have a professional licence?

    I attach the issue.

Is any kind of API available now for integration between Social Engagement and web portals/forums? To be more specific, if a client needs social media and website tracking and perception analysis to see how often his brand name and products are being mentioned on most visited portals, can it be provided through Social Engagement? Or is it optimised only for social media channels?

    Tnx,

    B.

Hi Bojan, The most recent release of MSE (December 8th) introduced Custom Sources which enables you to integrate RSS and atom feeds to MSE's listening capabilities. Depending on the use-case of your customer, this might be already what they are looking for. Broad coverage of Boards / Discussion forums are part of the MSE roadmap and upcoming releases.

I must ask/repeat something already asked above but not answered - when saying that MSE currently supports Blogs & News - what do you mean when saying it?

What kind of blogs & news? Could you give us an example, please?!
