Facing this issue while posting retail financial statement in Retail Mod --> Open Statements

Hello Ahmad Sheikh,
The error message indicates that one of your colleagues run the inventory close process (inventory-periodic-closing&adjustment) which prevents you from recording something for a date prior to the inventory closing date.
Please do either talk with your colleague whether they might be able to reverse the closing in order to allow you posting your statement. Alternatively, check whether you can post the statement on a later date.

Hi Ludwig,
I got the same issue when I try to post one statement for Jan 30, 2017.
And I got the error message "Inventory is closed for physical and financial transaction until 12/31/2015".
I did post many open statements before but didn't get this error.
There is not anyone do close inventory.
The session date is today date.
Can you tell me how can I fix this.

Can you double check whether there is a record in the inventory closing and adjustment form?
Can you also check that all of your financial periods are not set to on hold?
thank you for your reply sir, just want to know is there any other way to resolve this kind of issue that without reversing inventory closing, if we can change the date of transaction and post in later dates?

To my knowledge the only standard way of doing is is reversing the inventory closing.

actually I m seeing that against that particular trans statement is not showing any Sale order. the trans itself incomplete but I figured out through reversing the inventory closing. thanks for the time sir.
If there is nothing else left open then it would be great if you could verify the answers to get this thread completed.

In my case, I asked technical help to update correct "Transaction date" (Jan 30th, 2017) for all Retail transactions in that Open Statement. Then I can post it.
After I canceled the inventory closing transaction in inventory management --> Periodic --> Closing and adjustment. I managed to post the journal without that issue above.
