What can cause the loss of general set up on D365 FO on-premises (PROD and UAT)?

    1. Someone restored a gold copy database to your environment
    2. You're in a different legal entity than where the data is setup (since most data is company specific)
    3. You're looking at the wrong environment.  Connected to Gold or Dev or something instead of Production.

    Data corruption in the database may result in loss of general installation configuration. During data migration or upgrade, if the migration script or upgrade process is not executed correctly, there is a risk of losing configuration data.
    You can refer to the following official documents about configuration data. The documents list some precautions for you to check.
