Hi All,
Recently I came across a scenario in which I had to consume a custom service written by another developer. Upon investigating the service group properties I saw that it has 'AutoDeploy' property set to 'No'. I am wondering how to re-deploy or stop this service if I make some modifications in the custom logic of this service and need them to reflect back?
Thanks,
Musab.
Hi Musab,
According to Microsoft Doc , You must manually deploy and activate any service groups that are not automatically activated.

I think you can customize a service group, set AutoDeploy to Yes.

In addition, which kind of endpoints. SOAP?JSON?

Hi Wang,
Thanks for your reply. Yes we can set AutoDeploy to Yes and this is exactly what I did as a workaround before posting this question. But what I needed to confirm was is this the only way in D365FO to start/stop the service groups? Will we need to always make modification in the code just to start/stop the service or is there any other way (a script maybe) to deploy such service groups?
As for your second question, I am using JSON endpoint.
