Do you know if it's possible to set a user as read only in dynamics 365?

I mean, the user who logs into the D365 online should be able to only view all the records. He should not have privileges to delete or edit a record.

in this case , you need to create new role from scratch and set permission for view only

Hi,

Code in the below link deals with walk through creating a read only role on AX2012 provided by André. Though its on AX2012 as there is no much difference in security architecture its definitely worth a try.
