Need to clean account names

Hi Team,

We have users entering data against an account name which needs a clean up. Like Company A - AUDIT, Company B - RETAIL etc. Since we are on cloud and do not have access to database, I am unable to figure out a functional/OOB way to clean the above data.

My purpose is to remove '-Audit', '-Retail' from the account names. I have a handful number of items that can be against an account name.

Any suggestions would be helpful.

I have thousands of account records. I cant have multiple workflows to update account name field.

Correct me if i misunderstood.

You can use OOB excel export/import functionality. Please have a look below reference -

You can export data and update in Excel and import it. So, this is OOB feature.
