hi i have problem for my microsoft ERP maangement reporter ... i try create a YTD(year to date ) trial balance with debit and credit format .. but every time i generated the result between two rows values are equally the same .. mind anyone guide me how to solve this problem ??? thanks

This was an issue with the SL provider. The SL team has recently released SL 2011 SP1. With that service pack there was an updated provider for Management Reporter. The fix was in that service pack.
The service pack is located here: CustomerSource
I am no sure on the 13th period, if you still receive the error after applying SP1 for SL 2011, I would suggest we have support look at the issue.

my dynamic SL version for the provider is 8.21108.01....
the column type to periodic is working fine when i set DR and CR at column restriction .. only when i set at YTD in colume type with column restriction DR and CR generate duplication same value for both column .....
for the 13 period ... i have one close peroids ...
by the way i am using product DYNAMIC SL ... sorry for not stated at first
Thanks for the update Desmond and for checking the version of the client and server. Did you also check the version of provider? There are three components that need to be in sync. To check the version of the provider browse to C:\Program Files\Microsoft Dynamics ERP\Management Reporter\2.0\Providers
Dynamics GP 11.0. Right click the Microsoft.Dynamics.Performance.DataProvider.GeneralLedger.GP.dll. On the Details tab the Product version should also be the same as client and server.
If you change the column type to periodic do the DR and CR column restrictions work? I just tested this and it apperas to be working fine for me, so it shouldn't be a bug. I have two YTD columns, the first with DR column restriction, the second with a CR column restriction. Is this the same setup you are referring to?
For the 13th period, do you have two closing periods? If you have two closing periods in GP, there is an outstanding issue on the report generating.
One more thing to look at is the Event Viewer on the server and see if it provides more detail regarding the underlying cause. If you see something please share it.
If none of these work, then it may be best to open a support case so they can look at the issue in more detail.

hi .. thx for reply ... but the problem still same after i download and update the service pack 2 .. now my current version both server and client is 2.0.1700.66.... and i also have problem when generate the base period 13 and shows error "the reports does not contain data" but i comfirm in our database i have the data on base period 13 ...

This was an issue prior to FP1 for Managment Reporter. Can you please verify that the client and the provider are both on the latest service pack? Service Pack 2 is the latest relesae. If this issue still exists after both the provider and client are updated, please let me know.
