I only want to create an opportunity when I qualify a Lead

I've found the "Qualify lead experience" setting under System Settings that prompts the user to choose which record types are created but by default Account/Contact are set to Yes and Opportunity is set to No. See below.

Is there any way I change the default values of these Yes/No fields? Ideally I want Account/Contact to No and Opportunity to Yes.

I have the same question (0)

    Hello there,

Thanks for your question, unfortunately this is not possible by using the OOB qualify button. If you want to create only an opportunity, you could create your own button with the custom Java Script logic needed for this.

This is the doc for qualifying leads. https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/sales-enterprise/qualify-lead-convert-opportunity-sales

    regards,

    Hi,

Custom Button will come to your help, but not with OOB feature.

    Hi,

Add Account/Contact/Opportunity fields in the Form

then Set the Default Value for Account and Contact is No then Set Opportunity to Yes

    That's it :)
