Create new Guide using AI Builder

Hi everyone,

I have been able to create a new Guide using Power flows and the Dataverse nodes using the "Add a new Row" node(s) but when using the AI Builder although dataverse populates correctly with the new Guide values I cannot open the new Guide in the Guides app getting the error show in the screenshot below.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks,

Michael

Michael..did you see the email Shirley sent you on Friday? Did that not resolve the issue?

Create a guide with Power Automate
(or programmatically – just populate the same Dataverse fields)

    1. The most basic guide requires 3 Dataverse tables – Guide, Task, Step.
These have to be created in order as the subsequent ones have reference to it.
You can see that I have 3 sections below to create each of these things for my Guide.

    2. These are the fields required for Guide creation.
You can update anchor type to a specific type or set it as undecided if you intend to choose in the PC app.
The schema version is a field that tracks our data schema version – currently it is 5, but it will change when we release a new version so this will have to be updated in the future.
Update the name field to the name you want to call the guide; I’ve just put in a placeholder name for now.

    3. These are the fields required for Task creation

    4. Finally, these are the fields required for Step creation

That should be all, have fun creating lots of guides!

Hi Shirley and thank you for your great input!. Currently the AI Builder works in Dataverse and the App but not in the Guides App we must be missing on additional requirements (maybe coming from the StepId???) Please advise Thanks again Michael

    Hi Mihail,

I'm not sure I completely understand what you are trying to do. What do you mean AI Builder within the Guides app? Can you email me and we can start a thread from there?

Hi Mihail, I remembered this thread and thought you would be interested in an upcoming webinar that includes using AI Builder with Guides.
