Hi there,
I have a requirement to creata a record and select account from the lookup, but we do not want user to create new account from this opportunity form. He has to use the existing ones, now i can't do changes to users security role, because he will have the permission to create account by going on account form, but when he is creating some WO OR Opportunity, we want him to just select account from look up, do not press "+New Account" of look up to create a new account. Below is the screen shot.
This is driven by security roles. You would need to remove the 'Create' permission on the account for the user.
But if you need the 'Create' permission for the user as they create accounts else where but just want to stop users from creating accounts in certain places then there is a suggestion already for this to be implemented - experience.dynamics.com/.../
