Emails aren't followed in quick campaigns

Hello,

I have exactly the same issue as EBMRay, in that emails generated using a quick campaign aren't followed.  Individual emails to the same leads and contacts are followed.  Here's the previous post https://community.dynamics.com/forums/thread/details/?threadid=92c32669-8c19-ee11-8f6e-000d3a4e511f.

If anyone can suggest a solution to either one of our posts it would be much appreciated!

Thanks in advance,

Sian

    Hi,

We have analyzed the information you provided and according to the official documentation, you can manually create Quick Campaign Response or enable /Create campaign responses for incoming email/, please refer to the official documentation in the link below for more details.
Track a marketing campaign response by using in-app marketing | Microsoft Learn

We also tested using Send Quick Campaign Email and creating Email(NOT MKT EMAIL) directly in Timeline and did not reproduce the issue you mentioned.

Additionally, the link you mentioned in your description is no longer working, so we were unable to get more detailed information about this issue. Would you be able to provide more information about this issue? For example, a picture, etc. This will help us to better understand your issue.

    Best Regards,
    Rudy Zhang

    Hi Rudy,

My bad - I think a stray period crept into the link to the previous post.  This one works https://community.dynamics.com/forums/thread/details/?threadid=92c32669-8c19-ee11-8f6e-000d3a4e511f

I read through the marketing campaign documentation and checked that I'm set up as instructed.  When we send an individual email this is what we see:

When we send an email to the same lead via a quick campaign this is what we see and the option to follow is blocked:

Seems that emails and bulk emails are behaving differently from a following standpoint.  My goal is for bulk emails to also be followed.  Do you have an idea what to tweak?

    Thanks,

    Hello,

Please check my response in the below article:

Email engagement is not supported when we send bulk email. We are creating a campaign and sending emails in bulk so that email activities not followed by default. But for individual email, it is followed email activity by default.

    Thanks
    Pradip
