Clear all the filters in editable grid

Hi, I want to clear all the filters that I have applied on several columns, with one click instead of going through each column and clearing out the filter. Just like it happens in the readonly grid when we click the filter button again. Thanks.

Hi partner,

If you mean you want to clear all filters of columns in entity list, you just need to click the "filter" button again.

If my understanding is not correct, please share more information about your requirement and we will try our best to help you resolve your problem.

Hi sarangj,

Unfortunately, unlike read-only grids, I don't think there is an option to clear all applied column filters on editable grids without the filter icon in the top-right corner.

On the other hand, we also didn't need to click on the filter icon at first place to turn on column filters.

What I also notice is that in Unified Interface, it behaves in a similar way even with read-only grids, that:

No filter icon in the top-right corner, filter icons are visible on each column

Need to clear column filter one by one

Thanks for the reply Abby. I understand. But is there a way to like make a button and function it to pick the columns with filter on them and clear them ?

This is part of default system UI and I don't think it's open for customization. This is a list view and we can't bind JavaScript to list view.

On the form, even if you find a way to achieve this using JavaScript, it would be an unsupported way.

Oh Okay . I wouldn't mind going the unsupported way as is really important, but dont know how to achieve this.

Hi Leo,

Thanks for your reply. I need to achieve exactly this, but on an Editable Grid. The filter icon is only present on a Read-only Grid as in ur example.
