Create A Virtual Introduction Workflow

I want to create a Virtual Introduction Email. My idea is that I have a new lead that I am courting, they ask for a introduction to one of my contacts, I say sure and want to be able to create a workflow that will kick out when I create a new email activity with the subject "Virtual Introduction".

What I have done so far is:

I created an email template
I created a on-demand workflow that will send an Email

My problems are, the on demand workflow will send but does not have my email template (I don't know how to link the two).

When the email is sent, I want it to auto populate the fields that I created in the email template with the information of the contact I want to use as a introduction.

Is this possible, can you please provide and help, articles or blogs that I can reference. Any help will be appreciated

Hello,

Inside your workflow in "Send Email" step instead of "Create new message" choose "Use Template" and use it inside your email.
